transform your life

My starting point for coaching is always that you are naturally creative, resourceful and whole (even if sometimes it may not feel like that to you!).

Coaching is not about ‘fixing’ you but rather a way to explore your own life and choices, to get clear on what you really want, and to dispel any limiting beliefs and mindset that are holding you back from achieving your goals. We will design a plan that is specific to you, your situation and your aspirations.

transform your life

My starting point for coaching is always that you are naturally creative, resourceful and whole (even if sometimes it may not feel like that to you!).

Coaching is not about ‘fixing’ you but rather a way to explore your own life and choices, to get clear on what you really want, and to dispel any limiting beliefs and mindset that are holding you back from achieving your goals. We will design a plan that is specific to you, your situation and your aspirations.

At the very heart of coaching is the relationship between you and your coach – trust and connection are fundamental to the success we will achieve together.

My approach is body-mind based and will tap into all your intelligence and understanding, that which is conscious in your mind and that which lies deeper, held within your body.

The agenda is always yours, and I will hold that for you.

We will work in partnership. I will bring all of my experience, expertise, embodied attention and listening skills to your coaching journey.  Most importantly, I will hold a safe space for you to explore more deeply where you are, where you want to be, and how you want to make the changes that are right for you.

If you’re eager to discover your most authentic self, step out of your own shadow, ready to face challenges head-on and follow-through on your commitment to change, I’d love to hear from you.

my approach to coaching

my principles for achieving great coaching outcomes

First is trust. This goes beyond confidentiality to a place where it feels safe to share difficult or challenging realities and the client is willing to try new ways of thinking and being, even when it feels uncomfortable

Making it fun, and practical, because we learn better when we’re having fun, and things need to be realistic for the world in which we live and work

Looking under the surface, to find out which of our selves (whether it’s our over-achiever, our perfectionist, our inner critic…) is really running the show so we have the right insight to make real changes. Body-mind based, embodied coaching can really support with this.

Co-creation, where we journey together to discover fresh insights and create individual action plans that really work, uniqueness, rather than a generic approach of one-size-fits-all

Taking a body-mind based approach (embodied coaching) where we connect not only with the intelligence of our minds, but also our bodies, brings greater connection to our personal truth and intuition, generating real empowerment

a body-mind based approach to self awareness

I believe that real insight comes from using the intelligence of  both our bodies and our brains.

As well as drawing on my background in psychology and behaviour change, I believe that when we’re saying things like “I will do that”, “I must do that”, “I should do that”, but we don’t, there’s a disconnect between body and brain.

Aligning them opens up possibility, making it easier for us to actually embody the change we’re seeking.

Our embodiment is the way we hold ourselves, move and breathe. It profoundly influences how we perceive the world, and through that, how we act and relate to others, influencing the outcomes we get, and how others perceive us

Embodied coaching increases our awareness of our embodiment, significantly influencing our personal growth and self-leadership skills and increasing our personal impact and effectiveness.

Found her purpose, re-built confidence and self-esteem

“My problem was that I was stuck at work. I felt deep inside that I needed to change things, but I had no idea what I wanted to do. I felt frustrated and I blamed myself for not knowing what I wanted.

Allison offered me non judgemental help. She didn’t make any assumptions about what I should do with my problem, instead she listened to me, and gave me tools which helped me to explore myself. At the beginning it didn’t make sense to me, and I wondered why she didn't just tell me what I should do with my life. But suddenly when I started to know my needs better, I realised how important these different exercises were.

Suddenly I found out that the voice from inside is more important than opinions of other people, and when I started listening to this voice, I discovered myself. I realised what I want to do in my life, and what is most important for me. Allison showed me how valuable I am, and that my opinion and voice matters."
